Outbound

Qualified sales meetings, booked for you.

We build the list, write the emails, run the sending and sort the replies. You take the calls. Most of the price is per meeting that actually happens, so the risk sits with us. If an email from us brought you here, it came through this system.

What you get

A list, a message, the sending, and the replies sorted.

Cold email works when the list is right and the message is short, honest and relevant. The volume and the software are the easy part. We spend the effort on choosing who to write to and what to say.

  • A list built for you. Companies that match your best customers, checked one by one against a profile you approve, with two or three verified contacts each.
  • Emails you sign off. Three short, plain-text emails in your name, with one researched line per company. You approve every template and a sample of the research before anything sends.
  • Sending you never touch. Separate domains and mailboxes, set up and warmed up by us, so your own email reputation is never at stake.
  • Replies, sorted. Every reply is read and categorised. Positive replies are drafted for you to send within the day. Opt-outs are honoured the same day.
  • A weekly report. What was sent, who replied, which lists and messages are working, and what we are changing next week.

Who it is for

B2B companies with a sales call in the middle.

Cold email books conversations. It is worth paying for when a conversation can turn into a contract large enough to justify it, and when there are enough of the right companies to keep writing to.

It fits if:

  • You sell to businesses, and a typical deal is worth 5,000 dollars or more.
  • There are at least 40,000 people in the US who could plausibly buy from you.
  • Someone on your side can take the calls and run a sales process.
  • You have customers who would recognise themselves in the companies we target.

It does not fit consumer products, self-serve tools under about 100 dollars a month, or companies without anyone to take the meetings. We will say so before you pay anything.

How it works

Four steps. You approve at each one.

  1. Profile and offer

A short call to settle who we are writing to and what we are offering them. You get the written profile and the emails to sign off.

  2. Setup and warmup

Domains and mailboxes registered in your name, authenticated, and warmed up over two to three weeks. They are yours if we ever part ways.

  3. Small campaigns, not one blast

Several lists of a few hundred companies each, compared on the only number that matters: positive replies per email sent. What works gets more volume.

  4. Replies and meetings

Positive replies are drafted for you the same day. Meetings land in your calendar. You pay for the ones that happen.

Pricing

A monthly fee for the setup. The rest per meeting held.

A qualified meeting is a decision-maker at a company that matches the profile we agreed, attending a scheduled call. No-shows are not billed. Rescheduled calls are billed when they happen. The definition goes in the agreement in writing, so there is nothing to argue about later.

Month to month, with no minimum term. The monthly fee is paid in advance and meetings are invoiced weekly. If you leave, the domains and mailboxes go with you.

How we send

Rules we keep, whoever the client is.

Cold email has a bad name because of how most of it is sent. These are the lines we do not cross, and they are part of every agreement.

  • Every email carries your real name, your real company, a postal address, and a plain way to opt out. Opt-outs are applied the same day, across every campaign.
  • Subject lines are honest. No fake replies, no fake forwards.
  • Contacts come from licensed business data providers and are verified before use. We do not scrape LinkedIn.
  • Emails are short and plain text, with no tracking pixels and no links in the first message.
  • Each mailbox sends a small number of emails a day. Volume comes from more mailboxes, never from pushing one harder.
  • US recipients only, unless we have checked the rules for somewhere else first.

Who runs it

An engineer, not a marketer.

Poiema is a founder-led software studio in Austin, Texas. Alex Wilton has built software for Bloomberg, the UK Foreign Office and a run of smaller companies that have stayed clients for years. The outbound system is built and run the same way: researched, measured, and improved on the numbers, with a human checking every message before it goes.
